Hello. I posted a couple years ago when I first started with Havok. I've tested and tweaked every setting that I know affects a ridgidbodies movement including gravity, linearDamping, angularDamping, and friction. The problem is pretty much the same as I had before, but I've had much better success with knowing how each value affects the ridgidbody's movement. The actual problem I notice most is the character sliding for too long a time period before the character actually changes movement to the new direction I'm inputting. For example, when moving right then suddenly changing to a forward movement, the character will still be moving slighty right while moving into a forward direction, not an instant change to the new direction that I'm looking for. The movement feels much like a car sliding around a track filled with mud or a slightly icy surface. In other words, it feels like I can't get a good traction like a standard dirt or rock surface. I also notice the character seems to slide much more when the character is on a slope. I've wondered if this is just an issue with not using a characterProxy but I feel like this shouldn't be the case. Thanks for any response and I'll get a video recorded to show the sliding happening in the meantime.
